Custom Eyecare accepts most insurance plans. We are providers for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Medicare, and MassHealth. Many health plans provide for routine eye exams once every 12 to 24 months. In addition we offer a discount on eyeglasses and contact lenses for these plans. Senior citizens and students receive discounts on eye exams, eyewear, and contact lenses.
Custom Eyecare is also a provider for all the major vision plans. Most plans provide an eye exam and eyeglasses, or contact lenses.

Some insurance plans and vision plans provide yearly eye exams while others may only provide for exams every two years. However, it is often advisable to have a yearly examination for children, people who wear contact lenses, and people with diabetes. Many times a referral can be given to have their eyes examined during the off-year.
